I really ache for the people in the world who don't get to know my Murdy.
He is a riot!
And the more he learns to communicate and use his words, the more we get to know the little gems he has stashed away in his mind.
They are priceless!
Take for instance last night:
We went to our dearest friends Dave and Sue's house for dinner.
Murdock has not seen them since his birthday last year but that does not mean he doesn't remember them.
When we were loading up the car we asked if he would prefer to spend the evening with his grammy and grandpa.
(If you have met him, you know how much he LOVES his grammy and grandpa.)
We fully expected him to say no to dinner at Dave and Sue's.
But no!
"DAVE AND SUE'S!!!! WE HAVE TO GO TO DAVE AND SUE'S!!!!!"
Then he ran to the car and there was no further discussion on the matter.
While there, he forced everyone to pretend to be trains.
He hid in the pantry with their sweet daughter Caitlyn (who was SO kind to humor him) and made her hunt monsters and go to "Misty Island."
He told Dave that he was a caboose.
And as we were leaving, he ran to Dave, gave him a huge hug, patted his cheek, kissed him and told him that he was cute.
Today in the car he said, "Mommy, I love Dave and Sue. Dave is my favorite caboose."
Funny little man!

I hope you have this written down in a little book of remembrances that you'll give him one day.. Laugh out loud funny!
